Stray Cats and Dogs

If you find a stray dog or cat, it probably has an owner. Please check that it has a collar and tag. If it doesn’t, we are happy to scan it for a microchip at the Hospital. We are not able to admit these strays, so please do not bring them in unless you are prepared to take them to the Pound.

If they are injured, we will provide emergency care and attempt to locate the owners. Please be aware that the owner will be charged for this service when they collect the pet.

Contact the local rangers on 44741307 during office hours and they will arrange to pick up the animal and find its owner.

On weekends and after hours, please contact the local police. They will arrange collection of the animal by the Ranger on duty.
