Dr Kate was recently invited to examine and measure contenders for the Guinness Book of Records ‘World’s Biggest Oyster’. These huge and lovingly tended shellfish were on display at Narooma’s annual Oyster Festival. Despite everyone’s high hopes, none of the impressive oysters broke the record. Perhaps next year!
