Hi everyone. This post is to alert you that the COVID situation, a dramatic rise in pet ownership, and an ongoing shortage of veterinary surgeons is contributing to burnout in veterinary staff across the country.
As a result, Montague Vets is taking certain steps to ensure our workload is mentally and physically sustainable into the future.
Our normal opening hours will remain as they are: 8:30am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday
We will be reducing our after-hours coverage, as it is essential for our staff to rest after a busy day at work in preparation for the next morning, and spend at least one day of the weekend with their own fur babies and families.
This is to ensure our staff stay healthy and are able to provide the best service possible to you and your pet during normal hours.
We’re aware of the impact this may have on our clients and patients. It’s been a hard decision to take. We know that unexpected events can occur at any time of day.
