Diagnostics

Our imaging room contains a digital x-ray processor and ultrasound machine. These enable us to obtain a diagnosis quickly and with minimal stress to your pet. You can even be present, as we look for puppies or bladder stones.

The in-house Idexx blood analysers allow us to obtain accurate blood counts and biochemistry results within a few minutes, even on the weekends. These results are stored permanently on your pets computer records and as a hard copy for you to add to your pet’s file at home. The external lab can view these results immediately on their server, allowing their trained pathologists to offer advice when required.

Dr Kate has a particular interest in clinical pathology, including cytology (does that lump need to be removed?) and haematology (why is my cat anaemic?).
